The service
Scan by Tathya is an app from TathyaLabs for scanning, editing and saving documents as PDFs on your phone. Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you got it from, such as Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Your documents
You own what you scan. Your documents are stored on your device, as described in the privacy policy, and TathyaLabs cannot access or recover them. Keep copies of anything important.
Only scan documents you are entitled to copy, and use copies of identity documents lawfully. A scanned or printed copy made with the app is not a certified or attested copy.
Accuracy
Edge detection, filters, page sizes and text recognition are automatic and can make mistakes. Check scans, printed sizes and recognised text before you rely on them.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not misuse the app, interfere with it, or reverse engineer it where that is prohibited. Features may change as the app improves. To the extent allowed by law, the app is provided as available, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable as your only copy of a document, and TathyaLabs is not liable for lost documents or for decisions made using it.
