The service
GeoCam by Tathya is an app from TathyaLabs that stamps photos with location, address, date and time, and organises them by project on your phone. Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you got it from, such as Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Accuracy
Coordinates, accuracy, altitude and heading come from your phone's sensors, addresses from your phone's geocoding service, and the date and time from your phone's clock. Any of them can be wrong or imprecise. TathyaLabs does not verify them, and a stamped photo is not a certified record. Check the details before relying on them for official, legal or payment purposes.
Using the camera responsibly
Follow the law and local rules where you take photos. Respect other people's privacy, get consent where it is required, and don't photograph places where photography is not allowed. You are responsible for the photos you take and share.
Your data
You own your photos. They are stored on your device and in your Photos library, as described in the privacy policy, and TathyaLabs cannot access or recover them. Map thumbnails on iPhone are provided by Apple Maps and remain subject to Apple's terms.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not misuse the app, interfere with it, or reverse engineer it where that is prohibited. Features may change as the app improves. To the extent allowed by law, the app is provided as available, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and TathyaLabs is not liable for lost photos or for decisions made using it.
