Your games stay on your phone.
The app works fully offline. TathyaLabs does not run a server for it and never receives your games or stats. This policy explains what the app stores and the times data leaves it, always because you chose it. Sudoku Hush: Daily Puzzles on Google Play and Sudoku by Tathya on the App Store are the same app, and this page covers both.

The short version

What the app stores, and where
The app keeps, in its private storage on your device: your classic and daily games in progress (including notes, hints and mistakes), your stats for each level, the daily calendar and streaks, your most recent 500 game results and your settings. Puzzles are built into the app or generated on your phone. TathyaLabs never receives any of this.
Like other app data, what the app stores may be included in your phone’s own backups if you have them turned on: an iCloud or computer backup on iPhone, or Android’s backup to your Google account. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple or Google; TathyaLabs cannot access them.
Sharing and backups
When you share a result, the text goes only where you send it through the system share sheet. A full backup (stats, calendar, games and settings) is a JSON file that goes only where you save it. Restoring reads only the file you pick and replaces this device’s stats, calendar and games, after keeping a copy so you can undo it. TathyaLabs does not receive a copy.
Sounds and the screen
Sounds are built into the app, and it never uses the microphone (on Android the microphone permission is removed from the app). Keeping the screen on while you play needs no permission.
Contacting us
If you email us from the app or this website, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply. If you rate the app, the rating screen is shown by the App Store or Google Play, and we see only what you choose to post there.
This website
These pages on tathyalabs.com use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country and city), their device and browser, and how they arrived. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs without cookies. Google signals and ad personalisation are off, and the site shows no ads. The app itself contains no analytics. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
Retention and deletion
Your games and stats stay on your device until you delete them. Use Settings › Delete all data to erase everything, or delete the app. Backup files you exported stay where you saved them.
Children
Sudoku Hush (Sudoku by Tathya on iPhone) is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
