Tathya Money works offline and keeps financial records on the current device. These answers cover the most common questions.
Where is my financial data?
Your ledger is stored locally in the app's private storage. It does not sync to TathyaLabs or another device automatically.
How do I back up or restore?
Open Settings, then Export & Restore. You can export a CSV or create an encrypted JSON backup. Save the generated recovery key separately. To restore, select the backup, enter its recovery key and review the summary before confirming.
Why did changing currency not convert amounts?
Tathya Money is a single-currency ledger. Changing currency updates labels and formatting; it does not apply an exchange rate to existing values.
How do reminders and app lock work?
Recurring reminders are optional local iOS notifications. App lock uses the authentication available on your device. TathyaLabs does not receive your notification schedule or biometric data.
