Your day stays on your phone.
The app keeps your tasks, routines and focus history on your device. TathyaLabs does not run a server for it and never receives your plan. This policy explains what the app stores and the times data leaves it, always because you chose it. Dayribbon: Visual Day Planner on Google Play and Tathya Day on the App Store are the same app, and this page covers both.

The short version
- No account, no sign-up and no servers. The app makes no network requests of its own.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no ads and no tracking.
- Calendar access is optional and read-only: events are shown on your timeline and never changed or sent anywhere.
- Reminders are scheduled on your phone, and backups are files you control.
What the app stores, and where
Your plan is saved as files in the app’s private storage on your device: tasks with their titles, times, durations, colours, icons, notes, subtasks, alerts, energy levels and repeats, your Inbox, your wake-up and bedtime routine, focus sessions and your settings. Once a day the app also saves an automatic backup next to it (the 7 newest are kept). Smart fill, which reads “Gym tomorrow 6pm”, runs on your phone. TathyaLabs never receives any of this.
Like other app data, what the app stores may be included in your phone’s own backups if you have them turned on: an iCloud or computer backup on iPhone, or Android’s backup to your Google account. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple or Google; TathyaLabs cannot access them.
Calendar events
If you turn on Show calendar events, the app asks for permission to read your calendars and shows their events on your timeline. Access is read-only: the app cannot create, change or delete events (on Android the write permission is removed from the app). On Android, the home-screen widgets keep a copy of your upcoming events on the phone so they can show them; Erase all data deletes it. Calendar data is never sent anywhere by the app.
Reminders, widgets and the focus timer
If you allow notifications, task reminders, the morning brief and focus alarms are scheduled on your phone; no push server is involved. They show the task’s title. On Android 13 and later the app asks for notification permission first.
The widgets (on iPhone and Android) and the Live Activity on iPhone show your day on the Home and Lock Screen. On iPhone the app shares a week of your plan with its widgets through private storage on your device that only the app can use. Anyone who can see your screen can see what they show.
Backups, imports and sharing
Export backup saves your tasks as a JSON file and hands it to the system share sheet, so it goes only where you send it. Import backup reads only the file you pick. If saved data can’t be opened, the recovery screen offers Share raw data, which also goes only where you send it. TathyaLabs does not receive a copy.
Contacting us
If you email us from the app or this website, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply.
This website
These pages on tathyalabs.com use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country and city), their device and browser, and how they arrived. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs without cookies. Google signals and ad personalisation are off, and the site shows no ads. The app itself contains no analytics. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
Retention and deletion
Your plan stays on your device until you delete it. Settings › Erase all data deletes every copy on the device: the plan and its previous copy, the automatic backups and the widgets’ calendar events. Deleting the app does the same. Backup files you exported stay where you saved them.
