Your journal stays yours.
Tathya Mind is designed as a local-first wellbeing journal. This policy explains exactly what remains on your device and what is sent to TathyaLabs when you use an account.

Mind records stay on your device
Mood check-ins, reflections, breathing-session history, and the patterns calculated from them are stored locally by the app. TathyaLabs does not upload or sync that content in this version.
You can export a JSON copy through your device’s share sheet or erase the active local profile from Settings. Removing the app may also remove local records.
Account information
If you create or use a Tathya account, the app sends your email address and authentication credentials to the TathyaLabs authentication service, which is backed by Supabase. Passwords are handled by that service; the app stores its session token in the platform secure store.
Your email address is used to create the account, sign you in, send verification or password-reset messages, and respond to support requests. The authentication service assigns a user ID so TathyaLabs can keep account access and subscription entitlements associated with the correct account. Neither item is used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Supabase processes account data only as a service provider for authentication and database infrastructure. TathyaLabs requires service providers that receive personal information to protect it consistently with this policy and does not permit them to use it for their own advertising.
You may use Mind without an account. Signing in does not upload your Mind journal or move it to another device.
Sharing, tracking, and advertising
- Mind contains no advertising SDK and does not sell personal data.
- Mind does not use cross-app tracking.
- A local export leaves the app only when you choose a destination in the system share sheet.
Crash reports and usage statistics
To find and fix problems, and to understand which parts of the app are used, Tathya Mind uses two Google services: Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase. They receive technical information only, never your mood check-ins, reflections, journal text or breathing history.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): when the app crashes or hits an error, it sends the error message and where in the app's code it happened, together with the device model, iOS version, app version and similar technical state, such as free memory and disk space.
- Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase): which screens are opened, when the app is opened and for how long, first launch and app updates, app version, device model, iOS version, language, and an approximate region worked out from your network address.
- Both services use random identifiers created for this installation of the app. They are not linked to your email address or Tathya account, and are not used to identify you.
- No advertising identifier is collected, Google's advertising features are switched off, and this information is not used for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Google processes this information as our service provider and may do so in the United States or other countries. Crash reports are kept for 90 days and usage statistics for up to 14 months. You can read more in Google's Firebase privacy information.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you erase them or remove the app. Account records remain until you delete the shared Tathya account.
To delete an account, open Mind Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm. Mind requests permanent deletion of the shared authentication account and associated TathyaLabs server records, then removes the active Mind profile and session from the device. The app reports a failed request and, if only device cleanup fails after server deletion, lets you retry that local cleanup.
Security and choices
Authentication sessions use the operating system’s secure storage. Journal data uses the app’s private device storage, and Android cloud backup is disabled for this app. Mind is not an end-to-end encrypted cloud service because journal content is not cloud-synced in this version.
