Your carousels stay on your phone.
The app copies the photos you pick into its own storage and makes your slides on your device. TathyaLabs does not run a server for it and never receives your photos or designs. This policy explains what the app stores and the times data leaves it, always because you chose it. Slidewide: Carousel & Collage on Google Play and Collage by Tathya on the App Store are the same app, and this page covers both.

The short version
- No account, no sign-up and no servers. The app makes no network requests of its own.
- No analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no ads and no tracking.
- No camera, microphone or location.
- Slides leave the app only when you save or share them.
Photos
- Picking photos uses the system photo picker, so the app receives only the photos you pick. They are copied into the app’s private storage.
- Saving puts your finished slides in the app’s album: “Collage by Tathya” in Photos on iPhone, and “Slidewide” (the Pictures/Slidewide folder) in your gallery on Android.
- On iPhone, Photos access is used only for saving; with limited access, slides still go to your library, possibly without the album. On Android 13 and later the app asks for no photo or storage permission at all, and on Android 12 and older it asks for storage permission only to save. The Android app never reads your photo library.
- The app has no camera, microphone or location access (on Android those permissions are removed from the app).
What the app stores, and where
The app keeps, in its private storage on your device: your carousels (layouts, text, stickers, colours and the positions of your photos), the copies of the photos you added, and your settings. Fonts and sample pictures are built into the app. TathyaLabs never receives any of this.
Like other app data, what the app stores may be included in your phone’s own backups if you have them turned on: an iCloud or computer backup on iPhone, or Android’s backup to your Google account. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple or Google; TathyaLabs cannot access them.
Saving and sharing
Slides are made on your phone and go to your photo library only when you save them, and to other apps only through the system share sheet. Open Instagram after saving simply opens the Instagram app (or its website); the app sends nothing to it. Export layouts (JSON) saves your designs without the photos as a file that goes only where you send it. TathyaLabs does not receive a copy.
Contacting us
If you email us from the app or this website, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply. Please don’t send us personal photos. If you rate the app, the rating screen is shown by the App Store or Google Play, and we see only what you choose to post there.
This website
These pages on tathyalabs.com use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country and city), their device and browser, and how they arrived. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs without cookies. Google signals and ad personalisation are off, and the site shows no ads. The app itself contains no analytics. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
Retention and deletion
Your carousels stay on your device until you delete them. Deleting a carousel also removes photo copies no other carousel uses. Settings › Delete all data removes every carousel, photo copy and setting, and deleting the app removes everything. Slides you saved to Photos stay there.
Children
